UnCovered Theatre Company is a professional Theatre Company located in Rochester Hills, MI and housed on the campus of Rochester College. Uncovered works side-by-side with students by providing mentoring opportunities and professional training.

OUR MISSION

UnCovered Theatre Company's mission is to provide accessible, relevant and affordable theatre to a modern audience allowing them to uncover the grace, beauty and truth of the human condition.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Uncovered Theatre Company is proud to be in a partnership with Rochester College and is located on the RC campus. Our Partnership: UnCovered Theatre's partnership with Rochester College provides the space and support for professional shows throughout the year. This includes co-productions with students during the academic year in the RAC Theatre and the Associates Lab Theatre (the ALT) as well as the annual Rochester College Shakespeare Festival located in Lake Norcentra Park on Rochester College's campus. 

The Shakespeare Festival:
Through the sponsorship of Rochester College, UnCovered Theatre Company hosts the annual Shakespeare Festival each summer. This allows for local professional actors, UnCovered Theatre Company members and student interns to act alongside each other, providing an affordable and accessible Shakespeare production to the community at large. 

The Outdoor Stage: UnCovered Theatre Company prides itself on its creation of the first-ever outdoor theatre on Rochester College's campus. Nestled between towering trees and near Lake Norcentra and the Clinton River, the view is sure to invite audiences to enjoy many productions on this quaint outdoor stage.

Show Dates: July 6th, 8th at 2pm, 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 21th
Shows are at 8pm with one 2pm matinee on July 8th. 
Seeking Non-Equity Actors
Pay: $200 stipend for the run of the show

GENERAL AUDITIONS: Saturday, February 17th, 2018 from 2pm-8pm
CALLBACKS: February 18th, from 10 am-2pm. Sides will be provided. 
Auditions will take place in the Rochester College Auditorium in the Fletcher Center/Isom Atrium building. There will be signage pointing you in the right direction but come early to give yourself time to find it.

Email Rachel Arbaugh at rarbaugh1@rc.edu with your headshot and resume along with your preferred time. Make sure to include stage combat experience/certifications on your resume.
Prepare one to two Shakespeare monologues, totaling 3 minutes in length. Be prepared to work them in different ways. Please bring 4 copies of resume and headshot. 

Rehearsals will begin after June 1st and will run Monday through Friday 6-10pm. We will have Saturday rehearsals with Sundays off.
